WINES

Istrian Malvasia
Real king among northern-Adriatic white wines, and best indigenous variety of Istria, Malvasia vine is cultivated by integrated and sustainable agriculture on the “white soil” (peculiar to give grape a special aromatic density and a narrow acidity) in northern Croatian Istria, where vineyards enjoy an extra-mild microclimate on the heights about 8 km. south of Buzet/Pinguente. Pruned by guyot in terraced landscapes (that’s why a reduced density of vines), it’s manually harvested in the first decade of September, in order to realize -thanks to a meticolous experience of the family tradition- the ideal blend from vineyards with massive age difference, among 10 and 60 years old.
Rosé Sirotić
